Head to volunteer celebration at Quosatana Campground! (*First come, first serve, so please plan an alternative activity if capacity is full.)
- River Side Clean-Up: Meet at Gold Beach Visitor Center to check-in and head to a gravel bar along the Rogue River for trash pickup. We will hand out collection bags and help you determine where to wander! Walk the gravel bar from river’s edge to the woods, removing garbage – leave bags at the designated area. A list of accessible gravel bars and directions will be provided. Head to volunteer celebration at Quosatana Campground!
- Beach Clean-Up: Meet at the Gold Beach Visitor Center to check-in and join others on a local beach– South Beach, North Jetty, or South Jetty. - Invasive Weed Pulling: Sign up ahead of time and meet the One Bag at a Time crew in the morning at Buffington Park. Learn how to identify non-native plants and what to do when you find them. Pull weeds with the crew or spread out and remove garbage. Leave garbage bags at the designated area. Head to volunteer celebration at Quosatana Campground!
- I have my own boat: Volunteers that wish to bring their own rafts and boats to participate in the instream clean-up are welcome too. You must be experienced on the water and able to navigate the river in a safe manner. Bring all garbage to Quosatana Campground for final removal. Head to volunteer celebration at Quosatana Campground! **The event insurance does not cover any accidents related to volunteers in their own watercraft.
