Are you intrigued by native lamprey species?  Have you ever considered how including native lampreys in your restoration project planning and implementation could improve ecosystem benefits?

The Pacific Lamprey Conservation Initiative (PLCI) is teaming up with OWEB to offer you an informational webinar to explore these culturally and ecologically important species and discuss ways you can incorporate them into your restoration projects. Join us on May 27th from 8:30am – 12:30pm for: The Biology and Ecology of Native Lampreys and How to Consider Them in Your Restoration Projects

Native lampreys are incredibly important to food webs and the ecosystems to which they belong, including human ecosystems. The goal of the webinar is to increase awareness of lamprey life histories, species diversity, range, timing of occupancy and habitat types to help broaden the restoration focus and to better include them in project planning and implementation.  Lamprey biologists from the PLCI will deliver presentations and answer your questions during this 4-hour webinar.
