Curry Soil & Water Conservation District: Director Recruitment
The Curry Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is overseen by a Board of Directors which is comprised of volunteer resident landowners elected to a four-year term. There are two At-Large representatives and three Zone representatives.
 
We currently have a vacancy in Zone 2. The Board is authorized to appoint a Director under either of the following options:
 

Option A: Owns or manages 10 or more acres within the zone that is represented, is involved in the active management of the property, resides within the boundaries of the Curry County Soil and Water Conservation District, and is a registered voter.

Option B: Resides within the zone represented, has served for at least one year as either an associate director or director of a soil and water conservation district, and has a conservation plan that is approved by the Curry County Soil and Water Conservation District, and is a registered voter.
